Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept several major insurances.  It is very likely that we take your insurance, so don't hesitate to reach out! We also accept FSA spending cards and private pay clients.  

 

What is a psychiatric evaluation and how do I prepare for it?

A psychiatric evaluation is an in-depth mental health assessment that includes a full health history of medical and mental diagnoses, family history, social history, and medications.  To best prepare for this visit, please gather your personal health history so that you can answer questions promptly.  To be thorough, many of the questions will be repetitive to your intake paperwork.

If time allows, we will also discuss your top 1-3 mental health goals.  Give some thought to this in advance.  We’re excited to help you reach your goals! 

 

Can I get refills on my medication?

Medication refills are at the provider’s discretion.  Most patients will require a monthly visit for medication management.  However, there are some exceptions depending on the patient’s condition.  

 

How do I reschedule?

You may reschedule up to 2 business days prior to your appointment.  Please see your appointment confirmation email for details on how to reschedule. 

 

What happens if I am late or miss an appointment?

If you canceled the appointment within the required 2 business days, simply reschedule as needed.  If you did not cancel, or you canceled after the deadline, the card on file will automatically be charged the full cost of your visit.  This fee will not be credited to a future visit.

Are you only seeing patients in the Flint area?

We are accepting patients all over the state of Michigan. 

 

Do you see patients in person?

Yes, if you are in the Flint Metro area you can be seen in person on Thursdays only.
